Seller levels

Sell more. Wait less.

Five seller levels. Your level comes from qualifying sales and sets how long earnings are held before you can withdraw them: 15 days at the start, 4 days at the top.

Applications are reviewed by hand before a store opens.

The 5 levels

What each level means

Automatic level changes go up with qualifying sales and down because of disputes. The fee and the reserve are the same at every level; what changes is how long each sale is held.

  1. Level 1

    Thread

    Qualifying sales needed
    0, everyone starts here
    Hold on every sale
    15 days

Thread is where every store starts. Each sale is held 15 days before it can be withdrawn.

  2. Level 2

    Wave

    Qualifying sales needed
    30
    Hold on every sale
    10 days

Reached at 30 qualifying sales, 30 more than Thread. The hold drops from 15 to 10 days, 5 days sooner.

  3. Level 3

    Band

    Qualifying sales needed
    50
    Hold on every sale
    7 days

Reached at 50 qualifying sales, 20 more than Wave. The hold drops from 10 to 7 days, 3 days sooner.

  4. Level 4

    Weave

    Qualifying sales needed
    100
    Hold on every sale
    5 days

Reached at 100 qualifying sales, 50 more than Band. The hold drops from 7 to 5 days, 2 days sooner.

  5. Level 5

    Rosette

    Qualifying sales needed
    250
    Hold on every sale
    4 days

The top level, reached at 250 qualifying sales. It has the shortest hold of all, 4 days, and disputes can still lower it.

What counts

Which sales count toward a level

Levels follow real, settled sales. A sale counts toward your level only when every one of these is true.

  1. Order
  2. Live mode
  3. Still paid
  4. 7+ days old
  5. $1.00 or more
  6. Not your own
  7. Within the cap
  8. Counts

Live mode, and still paid

Test-mode orders never count. Refunded or disputed orders do not count either.

7 days old

A sale starts counting 7 days after it was paid. That keeps fake sales from lifting a level.

At least $1.00 in total

The order total must be at least $1.00. Levels count orders, not revenue: a small order and a large one count once each.

Up to 3 per card or email

Orders paid with the same card, or placed with the same email address, count up to 3 times in total. A loyal customer still pays you; their orders just stop adding to your level after that.

Not from your own team

Orders placed with the email address of anyone on your store team do not count.

Your dashboard shows your counted sales so far and how many are left to reach the next level.

Hold and reserve

When a sale becomes withdrawable

The moment a sale is paid, your share is split in two. Most of it waits out the hold of your level. A smaller share stays in a rolling reserve.

Sample sale

Product price
$49.00
Paywio fee
−$3.93
Your share
$45.07
90% pending
$40.57available after the hold of your level
10% reserve
$4.50released after 90 days

Sample amounts. Sales tax is handled by Paywio and is never part of your share.

The same sale at every level

Each bar counts days after the sale. The marker shows when the pending amount becomes available; the reserve follows on day 90.

Day 90: $4.50 from the reserve

The hold is fixed when a sale is paid. Moving up a level shortens the hold on new sales; sales already waiting keep theirs.

The rolling reserve

10% of your share from every sale is kept for 90 days, whatever your level.

  1. Day 0The reserve share is set aside the moment the sale is paid.
  2. Until day 90It stands behind the sale for refunds and disputes that arrive after the hold.
  3. Day 90Whatever is left joins your available balance.

If a refund or dispute arrives, it is taken first from that sale's pending amount, then from the reserve, then from your available balance.

Getting paid

Available balance is paid out in USDT.

  3. Screening and approval
  4. Sent in USDT

Every request is screened and approved by Paywio before it is sent. You need approved identity verification and a saved USDT address. Follow each payout in your dashboard, or through the payout.sent and payout.failed webhooks. Webhooks in the docs.

Demotion and protection

What can lower your level

Only disputes lower a level. Paywio compares the disputed orders with all live orders paid in the last 90 days.

  1. Up to 1% No change

Your level stays as it is.

  2. Above 1% One level lower

Applies with at least 3 disputes in the window.

  3. Above 2% Back to Level 1

    Paywio also reviews the account.

Window
90 daysDisputed orders against all live orders paid in the last 90 days.
Minimum
3 disputesThe one-level drop needs at least 3 disputes as well as a rate above 1%.
Freeze
30 daysAfter a drop you cannot be promoted for 30 days, even if your counted sales qualify.
Checked
DailyYour level is checked once a day, and again as soon as a dispute is opened or closed.

What that means in disputes

Sample order counts: the fewest disputes that cross each line, using the same rule Paywio applies.
Orders in the window One level lower at Back to Level 1 at
250 3 disputes 6 disputes
500 6 disputes 11 disputes
1,000 11 disputes 21 disputes
  • A dispute counts toward the rate as soon as it is opened, including disputes you later win. A disputed order never counts as a qualifying sale.
  • Each dispute also takes the disputed amount plus the dispute fee ($15 by default) from your balance; if you win, the disputed amount comes back.
  • Small stores: with fewer than 50 orders in the window, a single dispute is already above 2%, which sends the store back to Level 1.

Climb faster

Honest ways to level up

There is no shortcut around the rules, and none is needed: levels follow real sales. These habits line up with how the rules work.

  1. Count customers, not orders

Orders paid with the same card or email count up to 3 times in total, so each new buyer does more for your level than a repeat order. Repeat buyers still pay you in full.

  2. Keep refunds and disputes low

Refunded and disputed orders do not count, and disputes can lower your level. Clear product descriptions, instant delivery and quick replies to buyers help avoid both.

  3. Expect a 7-day delay

A sale counts 7 days after it was paid, and levels are checked once a day. Sales from this week lift your level next week.

  4. Plan cash around the hold you had

Each sale keeps the hold of the level you had when it was paid. A promotion shortens the wait for new sales, not for ones already pending.

  5. Watch your dashboard

It shows your counted sales, how many are left to the next level and your dispute rate, so you see a drop coming before it happens.

  6. Levels count orders, not revenue

A small order and a large one count once each, as long as the total is at least $1.00. A steady flow of real orders beats one big sale.

Questions

Levels, answered

The questions sellers ask most about levels, holds and payouts.

How many qualifying sales does each level need?

Every store starts at Thread with 0 qualifying sales. To move up you need 30 for Wave, 50 for Band, 100 for Weave and 250 for Rosette qualifying sales in total. The explorer above shows the hold at each level.

Why has my latest sale not counted yet?

A sale starts counting 7 days after it was paid, and levels are re-checked once a day. Test-mode, refunded and disputed orders never count.

Do I move up one level at a time?

No. When your counted sales reach a higher threshold, your level goes straight to the highest level they qualify for, unless a drop in the last 30 days still freezes promotions.

Does a promotion shorten the hold on money already waiting?

No. The hold is fixed when the sale is paid. New sales get the hold of your new level.

What is the reserve, and does my level change it?

10% of your share from every sale is held for 90 days, whatever your level. It stands behind the sale for refunds and disputes and then joins your available balance.

Can my level go down?

Yes. The automatic rules lower a level only because of disputes: more than 1% of orders in 90 days, with at least 3 disputes, drops one level; more than 2% sends you to Level 1. Fewer counted sales alone do not lower it. Paywio staff can also set a level by hand and pause automatic changes for a while.

What happens when a buyer disputes a payment?

The disputed amount and the dispute fee ($15 by default) are taken from your balance, starting with that sale's pending amount and its reserve. If that is not enough, the rest becomes a balance you owe: payouts stay closed until later releases clear it. If you win, the disputed amount comes back. Either way the dispute counts toward the rate.

How do I get paid, and what does it cost?

Payouts are in USDT on TRC20 or ERC20, at 1 USD = 1 USDT, from 50 USDT. Paywio pays the network fee. The fee on each sale is on the pricing page. See pricing
