What Merchant of Record means
On the receipt, the seller is Paywio.
With a payment gateway you are the seller, so the buyer's receipt carries your business name. With a Merchant of Record the sale is made by Paywio: it takes the order, delivers the file or key and pays you out. You make the product and set the price.
How it works
Three steps from file to payout.
-
01
Create a product or a payment link
Add a software license, template, course or download and set the price in USD. Share the payment link. No code needed, and one API call does the same from your app.
-
02
The buyer pays, delivery is immediate
Buyers pay on a hosted checkout that follows your theme. The license key or download is delivered the moment payment succeeds. Download links last 7 days, up to 5 downloads.
-
03
You are paid in USDT
After the hold for your level, payouts go to your USDT address on TRC20 or ERC20. The minimum payout is 50 USDT and Paywio pays the network fee.
Checkout and receipt

Levels and payout hold
Sell more, wait less.
Your level comes from qualifying sales. The hold before a payout becomes available shrinks from 15 days to 4 as you climb. Refunded or disputed orders do not count toward a level.

- The fee is 7% of the price plus a fixed $0.50, with the percentage rounded up to the next cent
- Hold before payout set by your level: 15, 10, 7, 5 or 4 days
